Usounds and pregnancy

I am just finishing to read an article on Midwifery Today about a possible link between the rise of autism and the Ultrasounds done during pregnancy...
Very well written and with a lots of valid references, it is worth reading and questionning the rise of US during pregnancy and EFM during labor.
The theory is that the US rises temperature within fetal cells more that we though and admitted by the FDA.. The fetus has more difficulties getting rid of the heat although the amniotic fluid fluid and placenta are helping in the process..We know that too much exposure to heat during the beginning of pregnancy can lead to neural tube defect and The author wonders of the same thing is not happening to the fetal brain cells due to an elevated temperature adn therefore causing brain dysfunctions. She mentions a rise in Left handed BB epoxed to US (not counting the genetic left handed bb...)
go to midwiferytoday.org and look into the articles... worth reading and time to back to fetoscope??
